DC Cool Night

February 3rd.  The Washington Auto Show hosts this special evening event to honor the coolness of the District. DJ Dimmy will be on the ones and twos. Attendees can also enjoy a cash bar with drink specials, a photo booth and plenty of socialization and networking. You gain access to the event simply by paying admission to the show.

Baby Screams Miracle

Starting January 20th.  Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company stages this apocalyptic play that will leave audiences both questioning and appreciating blind faith. When a torrential storm tears through a family’s home, their extravagant daughter watches as her religious relatives attempt to pray their way out of the situation. You’ll be thrust into the storm, both physical and metaphysical, in this engrossing production.

Trilogy & Alexander Gurning

February 4th.  Founded in 2011, Trilogy is made up of violinists Hrachya Avanesyan, Lorenzo Gatto, and Yossif Ivanov, each a soloist in his own right. As Trilogy, their aim is to present new and exciting arrangements for three violins that range from the classics to recent popular music. In this program, Trilogy will play unique versions of music from the 18th to the 21st centuries—from Vivaldi to Daft Punk.

Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions

February 4th.  Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions is the must-see video game concert of the year. All-new orchestral arrangements and carefully timed visuals draw from recent and classic Pokémon video games. Gamers of all ages will enjoy the rare opportunity to hear live renditions of the tunes that have soundtracked their favorite Pokémon hunting expeditions and battles through every generation of the beloved Nintendo series—starting with “Red” and “Green” from the original GameBoy and building up to “X” and “Y” for the 3DS. Cartoon fans are also in for a treat, as the performance includes an orchestral arrangement of the Pokémon television show theme song. Gotta hear ‘em all!

Silent Disco Saturday

February 4th.  Silent Dance Society is bringing the Silent Disco experience back to Station Kitchen and Cocktails! Gather up your friends for the ultimate dance experience. Get your wireless headphones and switch between 3 Different Music Channels by 3 Live DJs. Join the silent dance movement by reserving your wireless headphones in advance for $15 online (reserve online), or $20 at the event.
